Notification according to the Technical Regulation of Transportable pressure equipment

The conformity assessment body of "TECKO" LTD was notificated by the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine (order No. 2690 dated 28.04.2023) to carry out work on the conformity assessment of products in accordance with the Technical Regulation of Transportable pressure equipment, approved by Resolution of the CMU No. 536 dated 04.07.2018.

This Technical Regulation applies to:

• pressure vessels, their valves and other equipment, if necessary, as defined in section 6.2 of the Annex to The International Carriage of Goods by Road (CMR), in section 6.1 of the Annex to the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Inland Waterways (ADN) and in section 6.2 Annex C to the Convention on International Railway Carriage (COTIF);
• tanks, battery vehicles and battery wagons, multi-element gas containers, their valves and other equipment, if necessary, as defined in Chapter 6.8 of the Annex to the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR), Chapter 6.1 of the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Inland Waterways (ADN) and Chapter 6.8 of Appendix C to the Convention on International Railway Carriage (COTIF, RID);
• the equipment specified above, which is used in accordance with the requirements established in the annexes to the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR), the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Inland Waterways (ADN) and annex C to the Convention on International Railway Carriage (COTIF, RID) for the transportation of gases of class 2, except for gases or products of classes 6.1, 6.2 and 7, as well as for the transportation of dangerous substances belonging to to other classes specified in Annex 1 of the Technical Regulation.

New Transportable pressure equipment that has not been placed on the market must comply with the applicable requirements for conformity assessment, periodic inspection, intermediate inspection and exceptional inspections set out in the Annexes to the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR), the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Inland Waterways (ADN) and annex C to the Convention on International Railway Carriage (COTIF) and in clauses 39-65 of the Technical Regulation.

Transportable pressure equipment, which is marked with a sign of compliance with this Technical Regulation or the Technical Regulations of Transportable pressure equipment, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 967 dated 05.11.2008, must meet the requirements of the documentation according to which this equipment was made. Such equipment is subject to periodic inspection, intermediate inspection, and exceptional checks in accordance with the annexes the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR), the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Inland Waterways (ADN) and annex C to the Convention on International Railway Carriage (COTIF) and paragraphs 40-65 of the Technical Regulation.

Removable parts of transportable pressure equipment may be subject to a separate conformity assessment.

Transportable pressure equipment, which is not marked with a sign of conformity with the Technical Regulation of Transportable pressure equipment, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 967 dated 05.11.2008, and which was manufactured and put into operation before the date of mandatory application of the Technical Regulation of Transportable pressure equipment, approved by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers dated 05.11.2008 No. 967, is subject to reassessment of conformity, which is carried out in accordance with Annex 2 to the Technical Regulation.

Before the introduction of transportable pressure equipment into circulation, it is necessary to apply the appropriate conformity assessment procedure, draw up technical documentation, mark the equipment with a Pi sign and accompany it with a certificate of conformity.

The Pi marking must be accompanied by the identification number of the notificated conformity assessment body involved in the initial inspections and tests.

The identification number of the Conformity Assessment Body TECKO LTD. is UA.TR.006 or 006.
